How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
Calzuro.com is managed by SMD Wynne Corporation, Terry Wynne has owned a wholesale medical distribution business since 1983 and in 1987 was at Medica meeting in Germany and met the manufacturer owners of Calzuro footwear first made for surgeons. Hence Terry Wynne began to sell Calzuro for his customers and had a retail side of the business.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
Calzuro shoes can be disinfected for any professional for OSHA regulations by or personal hygiene for the sanitary and not carry contamination away from their job. Calzuro differentiates from other work shoes as they can be steam autoclaved up to 275 degrees F.
How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?
office warehouse in Plain City OH and one online store www.calzuro.com plus Amazon no further plans for alternative or another location
