How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
President/Owner Jim Schrader, began his career in the critical infrastructure field 28 years ago with a major infrastructure manufacturer. During his tenure there, he was promoted to the Manger of Technical Marketing, and promoted again to West Coast Regional Manager.
In 1989, Jim helped establish Computer SITE-PREParation to provide design/build services for data centers and other critical environments. Jim held a supervisory position, managing the design, construction and implementation of many projects. He has been responsible for final approval and professional certification of engineering plans, supervision and coordination with other professional engineers to create complete construction documentation. Computer SITE Preparations was purchased by Emerson and renamed Emerson Telecom Systems. Jim continued on as manager of the group, designing critical facilities for call centers, web hosting sites, collocation facilities, and telecom central office facilities.
In 2001 Jim founded TECHnology SITE Planners, Inc. (TECH SITE). TECH SITE expanded earlier offerings to include design, construction and maintenance services for mission critical facilities. Jim oversees all assests of this multidisciplinary company and is responsible for personnel and strategic planning decisions.

Jim Shrader
