My family has been with Xcel for many, many years. My kids have grown up with their teachings and I am proud of it! They have grown into responsible young people and show respect for others. The training they have received is something they will always keep with them and help keep them safe.
Myself, I have enjoyed the fitness class for time to time. I has been great. Too bad work always gets in the way.
I have always liked how the Confers get to know each student and treats each of them as an individual. Some need a little more direction than others. Not everyone fits into a mold.
The Confers are strict, but that's what you want in a martial arts school. My kids aren't there to collect colorful belts, they are there to learn.

Wow, great to workout after work and relieve all that stress! The instructors know how to get the most out of you too! Highly recommend!

I recommend the school. I think the teachers do a great job with the kids and the adults. Feel like family.

Xcel Martial Arts school has done wonders for my granddaughter who has cerebral palsy. Master Deb has worked different approaches to give Madison the best possible learning experience and performance that she can achieve. In Madison's own words "Wow! That was hard, but did you see what I just did!" I like the school because of Master Deb's understanding of special needs and how to work with them to accomplish their best. They will learn everything that all students must learn for advancing to next belt. They learn more than just body movements. They learn to appreciate that hard work brings results (Madison is now a Red Belt). They learn to work thru what they thought was an impossible task. And become confident in themselves to try new and different challenges. Madison is learning more than how to do her forms and breaking boards (which is her favorite), she's learning lifelong habits and discipline that will benefit her the rest of her life.
