Interview Q&A
How long have you been in business?
Est. September 27, 2008 by Renee Riffle
What is your primary product or service?
Residential Cleaning & Maid Services
How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
My parents owned a local cleaning company, I was familiar with the line of work & what was expected. I studied Nursing in College, and worked in the ICU at the Ohio State University Medical Center, The Ross Heart Hospital and as the Cardiac Hospital Coordinator at OhioHealth for a total of 7 years. The hours were long and the job demanded my full attention, it became hard to juggle a career and being the sole-provider for two children, although I loved being a part of the care our community needs and deserves, I also knew that I only have one chance to raise my two children, so I chose to take a few business courses and see how I would do following the path my parent's chose... I am completely happy with Task Tacklers LLC. I am able to still help families with their needs by providing outstanding cleaning services for individuals that have a busy schedule, obligations and other things that they would like to do with their time at an affordable price, create jobs for our community and a stable, fair work environment for my staff and still have the flexibility to be there for my children.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
Most cleaning companies offer a service with a list of services they provide, Task Tacklers LLC is different because we go a step further by customizing our cleaning services- I take my expertise and knowledge of the industry, the customers personal requests and pet peeves and the needs your home & belongings need to design a specific, affordable service that is worth your hard earned money. Much different then doing a list of cleaning needs that doesn't suite the customer or homes needs and charging them for it anyway.
How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?
One physical office location in the Greater Columbus OH area, but we travel to our customers homes to provide cleaning services in the Central OH Area.
What type of payments do you accept?
Cash, Checks, Money Orders, Visa & Mastercard.
We also provide Gift Certificates!
Which areas do you service?
Columbus, Lewis Center, Powell, Dublin, Westerville, Sunbury, Delaware, Marysville, Gahanna, New Albany, Pataskala, Pickerington, Grove City and Upper Arlington is where the majority of our clients are located but we travel within a 50 mile radius of Columbus OH.
Who owns your company or runs daily operations?
Myself, Renee Riffle. I like keeping the services personal! I deal with all of the customers and still have clients that I clean for myself, if one of my staff cleans a customers home then they continue to so they are able to build a relationship and know the needs of the customer and home, but if there is any issues, needs to work out payment arrangements, scheduling or concerns, I always make myself available for the customers that helped me make Task Tacklers LLC a success!
What are your hours of operation?
Task Tacklers LLC is open 7 days a week, M-F from 8:00 A.M. to 8:00 P.M., Sat. 9:00 A.M to 5:00 P.M. and Sun. 10:00 A.M. to 2:00 P.M.
If my customer's prefer to be home while their house is cleaned, then they should not have to take time from their normal routine or leave work to do so, Flexibility is important for providing outstanding Customer Service!
What is the best compliment anyone can give you?
'In my opinion, You are a Goddess! Thank you so much, so nice to come home to a clean home!'
This is a quoted text message I received from a weekly client that I have had for about 2 years. My response to this, of course, was 'Thank you!! Now, if only we could join forces and convince the world of this! But then you would be in the market for another cleaner... lol, I would retire :)'
What is your favorite quote or Bible verse?
Quote: "I never said I want to be alone, I only said I want to be left alone, there is all the difference"
Bible Verse: “For I know the plans I have for you, plans to prosper you and not to harm you,
plans to give you hope and a future” (Jeremiah 29:22)
