Appellate Advocacy in Forums Throughout Ohio
I am a former big-firm litigator, court of appeals judicial clerk, and OSU adjunct professor of appellate advocacy. I focus my practice on appellate advocacy and major trial-level briefs. I work in all forums – criminal, civil, and administrative.
With ten years of business litigation experience at two large Ohio law firms, I now practice on my own, handling all manner of appeals. I have represented clients before:
• the Supreme Court of Ohio,
• the Sixth U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals,
• municipal and common pleas courts,
• administrative agencies,
• and even the Ohio State University provost (where I won a reversal of an honor council’s decision and penalty).
I am a member of the Ohio Association for Justice and the Ohio Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers, and I am a trustee of the Columbus Bar Foundation.
