How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
Jane’s Montessori Academy was named in honor of Jane Wolfe Chabria, who in 1965 opened the first Montessori school in Columbus,Ohio. Opened under the name “Early Learning Center,” the academy was built specifically to use the Montessori method of education. Sadly, Mrs. Chabria passed away in November, 2004. Jai Chabria, Mrs. Chabria's nephew and his wife, Tammy Chabria, reopened the academy under its new name, to honor the memory of this great pioneer in Columbus education. Tammy has been in education over 15 years and this is a fulfillment of one of her personal dreams.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
We are a school, not a day care. At any time of day our students are learning skills that will help them for the entirety of their lives. We also have a strong emphasis on nature and the environment.
How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?
Currently one location, with future plans to expand to a new location in Central Ohio.

Off of Rt. 315 between Bethel and Henderson. Fransisco is perpendicular to Kenny/Godown.
What type of payments do you accept?
Direct debit is preferred. We also accept cash, checks, and money orders. Tuition can be paid in full or in monthly installments.
Which areas do you service?
All of Central Ohio.
Who owns your company or runs daily operations?
Jai and Tammy Chabria are the owners, Tammy runs day-to-day operations.

M-F 7am until 6pm.
