How long have you been in business?
Jack Seibert Goldsmith & Jewelers has been in business since 1979. Our first store was located in The Shoppes on Lane Ave. When an opportunity presented itself to purchase the building that has been our current location, the transition began. Our studio has found it's home at 1741 W. Lane Ave for the past 20 years.
What is your primary product or service?
We specialize in custom crafted jewelry and repairs. Our customers tell us that we can fix things other jewelers wont touch. We have 2 full time, in-house goldsmiths and all work is done in our studio. Your precious gold and gemstones will never leave our store.
How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
Jack caught the jewelry bug in college at The Ohio State University. He was drafted to the US Army and upon his return from service he started to exhibit as small craft shows. The rest they say is history.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
We specialize in the different and unusual. We are not like the box jewelers at the mall. We have one store and unique is what we strive for. We don't want our customers looking like every other gal in town. Our custom pieces set us apart from the competition. Our attention to detail is our strength. Our antique restorations are works of art. Shop the rest then come to the best.
How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?
We are family owned and operated. No plans to expand at this time.
Provide detailed directions to your location
We are just west of The shoppes at Lane Ave. We are a 2 story building facing Lane ave. We are on the south side of the streets between North Star Rd and Northwest Blvd in Upper Arlington!
What type of payments do you accept?
We accept all the major credit cards and we also offer in house, n/c, layaway.
Which areas do you service?
We have done custom projects for customers that no longer live in Ohio. We will work with anyone anywhere if there is internet access. Ideally we like to work with customers in person but when that doesn't work we improvise!
Who owns your company or runs daily operations?
We are owned by Jack Seibert and Kathy Dennis runs the day to day activities.
What are your hours of operation?
We are here Tuesday - Friday 10-6, Saturdays 10-5 and we are closed Sundays and Monday's
What is the best compliment anyone can give you?
"I can't tell where you did my repair", "It looks better than I every remember it" "Are you sure this is my ring, it never looked so good" Tears without words are our favorite.
