As a relocation specialist, E. E. Ward Moving & Storage offers full-service moves in all aspects of the relocation industry. From local household moves to international industrial moves, E. E. Ward does it all.
How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
William S. Ward, with the assistance of his father, John T. Ward, founded The Ward Transfer Line in 1881 with a team of horses, a wagon and two helpers. This was the start of what would become one of the oldest and most established moving and storage companies in Ohio. The U.S. Department of Commerce has recognized E.E. Ward as one of the oldest minority-owned businesses in the United States.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
At E. E. Ward, we strive to provide 5-star service to each of our clients. Each move is measure on the following criteria: 1. Was the service provided as promised? 2. Did the service meet the customers' needs? 3. Was the service provided with safety and respect? 4. Was the service worthy of a referral? 5. Are we proud of the service we provided. We treat each move as if it is the most important move of our lives.

Brian Brooks is the current owner and president of E. E. Ward Moving & Storage. E. E. Ward was held in the Ward family for more than 120 years when it was passed down to Brooks, godson of Eldon Ward, the previous owner.
